In the Požarevac Youth Center, as part of the “Reflector” project, the Association for the Education of Youth and Adults held the first transformative drama workshop in which young people from secondary schools in Požarevac participated. In this way, after several unofficial gatherings, the “Reflector” project, which was approved and financed by the City of Požarevac, officially began. The goal of the project is to shed light on marginalized and vulnerable groups and point out the problem of social exclusion among young people. Using the forum theater method, young people in the workshops become active participants in the process and, reflecting on the world around them, create their own dramatic world. At the first workshop, we identified the environments that generate this problem and created and selected types of marginalized young people, who will be our protagonists in the continuation of the dramatic process. Until the moment of going on stage, we still have to creatively calibrate characters and situations, but if you know the day by the morning, the final evening will be something special.
