Last night, the final evening of the “Reflector” project was held in the Great Hall of the Cultural Center.
With this project, the Association for the Education of Youth and Adults tried to shed light on young people who are at risk of social exclusion.
Through workshops on inclusion and dramatic expression, Pozarevac secondary school students spent months developing a scenario in which they wanted to identify and bring to life the types of young people who have this problem.
At the final evening, the results of the project were presented, a film showing the process of creating the play was shown, and the play “Reflector” was shown as the grand finale. In the form of a controlled forum theater, with elements of breaking the fourth wall, with a lot of twists and dramaturgical sabotage, the young actors brought their characters to life on stage, which they spent months building and in whose destinies they incorporated their life stories.
The large audience responded very well to the specific dramatic narrative and, in a way, was an active participant in the performance last night.
After the gift, “Reflektor 2” was announced, which speaks of the need to actualize the problems of young people in the coming period.
