Representatives of YAEDA took part in an international online coordination meeting within the Erasmus+ project Mosaic of Europe, alongside partner schools from Martinique (project coordinator) and Lesbos, Greece.
During the meeting, partners agreed on the key activities for the upcoming school year, structured around three main thematic areas:
- Sustainability and Ecology (led by Martinique): Activities such as “Adopt a Coastline”, combating plastic pollution, rainwater collection, composting, and upcycling (e.g., using shredded paper to make poufs).
- Cultural Heritage (shared among partners): Workshops will explore traditional crafts, food, dances, local languages (including Creole, Serbian, and Greek dialects), and storytelling (myths and legends from each region).
- Inclusion and European Values (led by Serbia): Students will participate in virtual role-playing simulations of the European Parliament, supported by teacher-designed scenarios and cross-national collaboration.
Joint project outputs will include a series of short video documentaries, a shared website, a digital cultural exhibition, and coordinated social media campaigns. YAEDA is responsible for designing and maintaining the project website.
Student mobilities are planned in:
- Brussels (May 2026),
- Serbia (January 2026),
- and Greece (June 2026),
with additional dissemination events in each partner country, including participation in Erasmus Days and a logo contest.
The project also aims to foster digital competencies and strengthen intercultural dialogue among students, while actively engaging their local communities.
