Summary
The PALL project aimed to boost participation in adult education among low-skilled adults by tackling psychological and social barriers such as lack of confidence, negative learning experiences, and absence of role models. Using a bottom-up approach, the project engaged trusted local organizations to deliver five interactive workshops on communication, time management, goal setting, and career planning. These sessions reached 23 participants in the Netherlands and Serbia, with surveys confirming high satisfaction and relevance. In addition, an online toolkit was created in English, Dutch, and Serbian, containing a Trainer Manual, Runbook for Career Training, and Runbook for Job Interview. These practical tools are tailored for informal educators working with vulnerable groups. The project results were showcased in an online event and promoted via social media and EPALE. A job shadowing experience was also organized for an adult educator to further professional exchange. The project directly contributed to the European Skills Agenda by promoting accessible, inclusive lifelong learning.
